These terms and conditions govern your use of the Central Coast External Stairs website and the purchase of products through our online shop. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out below. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.


About Us

Central Coast External Stairs is a business operating on the Central Coast of NSW, Australia. We sell external timber staircases and related products online, including through our Custom Stair Builder.

 

Placing an Order

By placing an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products at the price listed at the time of checkout. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion.

Once your order has been confirmed and payment received, you will be sent an order confirmation by email. This confirmation constitutes our acceptance of your order.


Pricing

All prices are displayed in Australian dollars. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice, however any price change will not affect an order that has already been confirmed.


Custom Stair Orders

Staircases ordered through the Custom Stair Builder are made to your exact specifications. Because these are custom-made products, they are non-refundable for change of mind once production has commenced. Please review your selections carefully before completing your purchase.


Payment

Full payment is required at the time of checkout. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Your card details are encrypted and never stored on our servers.


Delivery

We deliver to the Central Coast region of NSW and are open to delivery outside of the Central Coast, though this is charged separately from order costs. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on order volume and other factors. We will contact you to confirm your delivery timeframe after your order is placed. Central Coast External Stairs is not liable for delays outside of our reasonable control.

Inspection and Acceptance

It is your responsibility to inspect your order upon delivery. Any damaged or incorrect items must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to report issues within this timeframe may affect your ability to make a claim.


Returns and Refunds

Due to the custom-made nature of our staircase products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind. Returns may be accepted for non-custom products at our discretion, provided the item is unused, in its original condition, and returned within 14 days of delivery.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.


Consumer Guarantees

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Central Coast External Stairs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our products or website. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product.


Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and the Custom Stair Builder tool, is the property of Central Coast External Stairs and may not be reproduced or used without our written permission.


Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to our website at any time.


Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
